- Samia Drappeau, on April 2nd, 2013, at 12:00 at the Agnietenkapel. Her thesis is entitled: The Ins and Outs of Emission from Accreting Black Holes
- Peter Polko, on April 3rd, 2013, at 12:00 at the Agnietenkapel. His thesis is entitled: Exploring jet properties in magnetohydrodynamics with gravity
